The WeldCheck Eddy Current (ECT) Flaw Detector Family from ETher NDE now appeals to users within a wide range of industries including Offshore, Rope Access non destructive testing (NDT) applications and other weld inpsection applications replacing Magnetic Particle and Liquid Penetrant Inspection especially on coated welds.

Designed specifically to meet the exacting requiements of ISO17643 (formally EN1711) "Eddy Current examination of welds by complex plane analysis".

However as a high specification eddy current flaw detector then a full range of other eddy current inspections may also be undertaken.

The WeldCheck2 EC Flaw Detector is lightweight, compact and cased in a tough  aluminium alloy Mg Si 0.5 powder-coated outer case with rubber end bumpers and has been designed with the  basic end user in mind.

The WeldCheck+ further enhances the inspection capability by adding dual channel/frequency capability and Automatic Lift Off Gain Compensation (LOGC) and conductivity measurement. Dual channel for Weld Inspection means the Weldprobe can simultaneously assess coating thickness and detect defects (allowing the operator to be more efficient). LOGC automatically compensates for coting thickness variation in real time further improving the quality of inspection.

Both units are designed and manufactured in the UK by the ETher NDE team and fitted with industry standard 12-Way Lemo and Co-axial Lemo 00 connectors, the WeldCheck is able to use absolute, bridge and reflection probes without the need for adaptors.

The WeldCheck ET Flaw Detectors offers a crisp, clear daylight viewable screen, user  friendly interface and menu systems all in a rugged alumninium housing with protective rubber end bumpers.

The EtherCheck Flaw Detector is designed and manufactured in the UK and uses industry standard 12-Way Lemo and Co-axial Lemo 00 connectors, offering rotary drive, dual frequncy and conductivity capabilities as standard and also absolute, bridge and reflection probe modes without the need for adapters.

The AeroCheck+ is the follow on Eddy Current (EC) Flaw Detector from the AeroCheck. The AeroCheck+ offers the same features as the original AeroCheck, including Rotary Capabilities as standard, but in addition offers Dual Frequency with Auto-mix and Conductivity Measurement as well as an outstanding Frequency Range from 20Hz to 12.8MHz.

Auto-mix simplifies the sometimes complex procedure of mixing two different frequency signals and can be achieved on the AeroCheck+ through a series of easy steps. Setting the Auto-mix itself is as simple as pressing one key.

Advanced Multi-frequency and Multi-channel flaw detection

The ETi-200 is an advanced Eddy Current Flaw Detector from ETher NDE. The ETi-200 is designed to offer advanced multi-frequency and multi-channel flaw detection housed in the smallest portable EC package on the market.

Appealing to all sectors within NDT, the ETi-200 allows the Operator to programme not only frequency, but many other advanced functions. With single-Probe operation, the ETi-200 can multiplex eight Channels, making the ETi-200 the most flexible portable unit available. Alternately with two Probes connected the ETi-200 allows any mix of eight channels across two Probes.
